I had this product on my FXSTC and when I traded up to an FLHTK I had one installed at the VT/NH Hog Rally. Sure, someone could just fork-lift your bike off that's true. "Having a Roadlok on my 2005 Electra Glide is a great theft deterrent. I'd like to point out a few things that I learned to anyone who will be using a Defender on their bike. Always remember to roll the bike back a few inches after inserting the locking pin to make sure it's fully engaged. Secondly, you must use the key to remove the dust plug. This ensures that the plug doesn't fall out while you're riding and keeps your Defender clean. I recommend it to everyone." -Dwaine C.
