Eric's Commentary
The team at American Cycle/American Bagger has done it again! Another quick, simple install. There's not much to comment on for this installation, because as you can see it's very simple and quick... but you know me. I likes to talk. I'd like to point out that the Defender™ is hot-off-the-press. Literally. The unit AC installed was packaged without installation instructions or a Defender lanyard. I handed it to Professor Larson when we were both down in Daytona at Biketoberfest. No consumer packaging either. Hot. As you can see, the AC Team figured it out. We're actually going to use the images of this install for our own installation guide! How's that for industry teamwork? We recommend that the Defender be installed using Loctite® Threadlocker Blue for vibration-resistance. Also, you don't need the key to insert the pin. We've designed the RoadLoK® to be one-hand-operable. Just push the pin in when you're locking your Harley® then roll the bike a couple inches to engage the pin. See the video: Final note [plea]: Please go out and buy your own copy of American Cycle January 2008! You'll be hooked! Their other title—American Bagger—is another awesome mag. These guys know how to write and report! Ride Safe! -Eric X
