How does the RoadLoK Defender lock your motorcycle and prevent damage? Simple: it's mounted to your bike so when the locking pin is IN the wheel is completely LOCKED. This also means that if you forget to unlock the RoadLoK   (by removing the pin) the wheel won't move at all.

REMOVABLE LOCKING PIN
The RoadLoK's locking pin comes completely out while you're riding GUARANTEEING that the RoadLoK will never accidentally engage--the pin's in your pocket--far away from the RoadLoK--while you're riding!

The BrakeBolt™ locking pin looks small, but it's constructed of 17-4PH hardened stainless steel. If that doesn't mean anything to you just ring-up a metallurgist and ask them about 17-4PH.

Our pins test over 100,000 lbs. of shear-load  - more than enough to stop you from moving when it's in the RoadLoK. All RoadLoK models are equipped with one locking pin. And yes, the locking pin is replaceable if you happen to lose yours.

INSTALLATION
Installation is quick and simple! The Defender mounts between your existing caliper and the fork of your motorcycle.
