Three Guys, One Bike Founded in 2005, RoadLoK Security has developed the world's first and only motorcycle locking system which cannot damage the motorcycle it's protecting or injure the rider using it. The idea was born just like any other--out of necessity! One of the original three founders--Mark--mangled the front of his Hayabusa one summer day in 2005. This is a very common occurrence among riders who secure their motorcycles with a disc lock. Simply forgetting to remove the lock from your rotor can cause SERIOUS damage, as it did for Mark. The three set out to develop a system which would effectively secure a motorcycle without being able to cause damage to the bike if the rider forgot to unlock it before attempting to ride. The RoadLoK was born! Right in New Hampton, NY! The three founders patented the idea, and the rest is history! The Present and Future RoadLoK Security currently operates from a a non-descript office in Middletown, NY--just forty minutes north of New York City in the heart of the Hudson Valley. The headquarters serves as an executive office as no RoadLoK models are currently produced there. Each RoadLoK model (Defender™, Arachnid®, Sniper™) is manufactured--under license--in various cities in North America and Europe. RoadLoK Security continues to lead the way in modern motorcycle locking technology. There are plenty of electronic systems to help protect motorcycles, but at the end of the day there is no replacement for cold, hard steel.
